These are some of my favorite ways to to take care of myself at work:
I take a couple minutes to journal in between my clients. When I don't have a few minutes to spare, I acknowledge what I'm feeling. Recognizing these feelings takes the power out of it and helps me move onto the next client. During an uncomfortable conversation, I take eight slow breaths.
This is a post letting all of us know, me included, that whatever we're going through can bring us stress. Whether we're moving, adjusting to a new job, worrying about our finances, it's all real, and it's okay to feel what we're feeling.
